Programme 2011/2012

 

All Wednesday meetings and Saturday workshops are held at the Bloomfield Centre in Narberth, unless stated otherwise. Wednesday meetings start 7.30 pm and Saturday workshops take place from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Workshops cost £15 for members and £20 for non-members, with the exception of those quoted otherwise. Bookings with full payments must be made with Bettina Becker (01437 563657) at the latest two months before the workshop.

We always welcome visitors, but will charge £3 for evening meetings towards the room hire and refreshments. We charge Guild members £1.

Bring some food to share

Sat 22 October 

Painted rovings or hanks of yarn
Share a skill. Bring some acid dyes plus fibres, yarn or a warp to paint and take home to steam or microwave.

Spinning silk
A workshop with Vickie Corton who is going to show us how to spin different types and preparations of silk.

We will be looking at knitting with handspun yarn, but you can also bring other items you have made recently.

With Andrew Johnson. A method to weave bands with intricate designs using simple technology.

Meet other Welsh Guilds, bring some of your stash or equipment to sell. Also fleeces for sale.
